YNGWIE MALMSTEEN'S #3 TOUR STRATOCASTER 1962 NECK
" He told me this guitar was one of his favorites that he heavily used throughout the 1990's on world tours as well as in the recording studio. The body is a 1994 (I believe it's stamped March 15, 1994) model and the neck is dated 03-62 and was custom scalloped by the Maestro himself. He replaced the original Kluson tuners with DiMarzio's and it still has his quick release strap ends. I acquired this #3 last February 08 as Yngwie and I made a deal involving my long owned Ferrari 308. Yes, the Red Devil. I took the picture of him holding the guitar in his Miami recording studio. It comes with the original photo of Yngwie with the guitar, Signed Certificate of Authenticity, Dean Markley signature strings and pic and the original Fender hard case. Yngwie told me he was offered over $500K for his 1971 Duck which he refused and that this guitar was almost as important to him and was very reluctant to part with it.."
